BORACAY (THE BEACH)

It is not an unknown fact that when people go to Boracay they want to see it's white fine sand. When I heard about people saying that the islands sand was fine and powdery white I was like really? (doubt). I have read some magazines, saw in the news and all of them are saying the same.

As a beach lover like me I was really into going to the island and to experience and to see in my naked eyes these people are boasting about. This really excites me.

first step

It was like oh! the sand seems to be the same on what I have step in Cebu, yet what I did not now is that you need to walk along the shore from Station 3 to 1. Yes you heard it right we walked on the long strech of white fine sand of the island just to see and feel it's beauty.

feelin it

After a long walk along the shoreline though it was that far from end to end we where not tired since you got to see a lot of beautiful spot, see a lot of people talk to the natives. Now I was able to compare it reall is indeed so fine and powdery as you can see in he photo it's like a polvoron ( a dessert made of milk and flour) as what I always say to my husband during our walk.I couldn't resist but to take a picture of our feet soaked with it. It was really good and nice to feel your feet won't get sores it was that fine.


One native said that the secret behind Boracay,s white fine sand is it's algae formation in it's shore, he said the reason behind people are not getting off those in the beach cause those algae's will melt in time and will become a fine sand. That's from the native side of view he also said that researchers have proven it.
