EVERY CHILD IS A SPECIAL

"Every child is a special" these phrase may seem familiar to you.. yes! it is a title of a movie about a child with dyslexia. When I saw the movie I cried from the start till the end of it like not exaggerating. It was a heart felt story that should be seen,  for us to realize that every child is special even the differences each has. We must let them feel how special they are because I believe that what a man becomes is base on his childhood. It is the adults who can make them what will they be tomorrow.

Well enough of those this is about the Outreach program we had last week. The event took place in Labangon Church. It was my first time to be in such event I did not mind that I was not able to went on our Christmas party in the office since I was to tired of the outreach program indeed I did not regret joining the program, it was like a very humbling experience seeing those kids smile, laugh and giggle. My heart just melt with those echoed laughter of the children.

THE HAPPY FACES OF THE CHILDREN AND MOTHERS IN LOURDES CHURCH DAY CARE CENTER

These kids ages 0-10 are being fed by the care takers of the church day care center. Their classes starts at 10 and end at 12 noon. As what the care giver told us these children are malnourished when they first enter the classroom an as days, months and years gone by they eventually gained weight appropriate for their age. GOOD JOB!!! to those who are in charge with this kind of program.

You can see it in my eyes and smile how joyful I am to be part of this activity. Thanks to my friends who invited me to be their and I am happy I made a better choice than going to a Christmas party. Spending time with these beautiful kids together with my friends was such an awesome experience. I will definitely be on the same place next year. 

A SMILE THAT NO ON CAN BUY

There is so much to say just seeing these people smile laugh and having a good time that day. A picture can always capture the best part of the story.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN

Children are easy to please just give them gift and they are the happiest people on earth yet its not about the material things they wanted these kids need love and affection that they could feel and bring up until they grow up. Research said that the more you hug or just even hold the children the more the child feels the love you have for them.

MEET a.k.a MARIA

These beautiful girl right here is one of the examples I earlier said a child who needs hug and caress from someone loving him. I noticed this girl since she is always participating in the games we had for them and I also notice that the girl had lots of dry wounds and open wounds all over her body her hair was full of dandruff  tied in a very tight rubber band. At first I was like hesitant to go near her but there was this feeling of why wouldn't I.. like I don't know.. I can't explain the feeling. In the game paper dance each participant needs to find a partner and when I said who wants to partner with me the little girl raised her hand and joyfully said "me". So when the game start and end, but it was not their that I felt the kids longing for attention, It was when she grab my shirt as if she does not want me to let o of her my heart started to melt and I got teary eyed and just hug the kid and caress her hair with love and affection. Then I started to think I am so blessed that I have a parents that are very supporting and loving.

The staff was so happy on this day since not just the children where able to eat the mothers as well. Sometimes I always think why do these parents let their children suffer from these kind of situation but by seeing these people I have realized that these parents If only they can give these children any thing they want yet they cannot due to circumstances. I can see the love and care is their but the pain and suffering is also seen in their eyes.

BUNDLES OF JOY

After giving the kids and mother some bundle of joy. We still had lots of goods left so what our leader said there was a place nearby who had been homeless due to fire and we sent the remaining good to them.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND

I was so thankful I have met these new friends, the people that has great hearts and this activity was such a humbling experiencing an eye opener to me being so thankful of what life I had. Till the next outreach program with these wonderful fellas.
